Created the topic Surprising acquisition in Bike Forum
I'm sure most Zwifters would rather see them spending their money on improving Zwift, particularly if they are just going to keep running the platforms alongside each other. No synergies or economies of scale - I can't see the logic.

It looks like a can pay a premium and get tickets from a 3rd party, or chance it through the official website 30 days before we go but risk them selling out.   Has anyone done it recently?

A guy at club is looking for a new HT for his lad. Size small, more Trail/AM than XC - so around 140mm travel, 10-12 speed and a dropper - budget around ยฃ1k. So far I've come up with: Saracen Matra - Mullet, Unfortunately Small is out of stock Kona Honzo DL - Not sure with full 29'er Merid...

Looking at options for a few overnighters this year. Exeter isnt far from Dartmoor, so lots of options for lying on the floor up there, but considering other options, closer to home. Ive always wanted to try a hammock, and i think it potentially opens up many more options for sneaky overnights. ...

Ok , so I'm a gorrrilla armed with a hex key . New bb fitted by lbs as it's pf , so I only had to refit the RF Turbine cranks . A decent amount of lube to help things along then tighten it, just 1/4 turn too much and I strip the axle thread. So now I can't undo it as the bolt doesn't unwind so ...
I need to replace my current home office chair as it's terrible for my posture - excuse empty lager vessels Probably going to look at something like this from Charles Eames (might get a low back, not sure) - any other suggestions?

If you care about cross-country racing, or just enjoy watching the weight-weenie arms race escalate to increasingly absurd levels, this is worth paying attention to. The headline claim: a 1,589g frame weight (medium, with shock, hardware, seat collar, axle, and water bottle bolts included), which Sp...

No mow May starts soon but I sense that there is quite an appetite for the natural world - working with nature and enhancing our gardens for nature where we can. There are also some very dedicated photographers on here that could share their pictures? Being out in nature is why a lot of us use bic...

I've had the chain come off on my singlespeed MTB three times in the last few weeks. The first two times I thought maybe some random trail detritus had derailed it as I was pedalling down some narrow singletrack but then today it came off after a landing a couple of (not enormous) drops. The chain...

I have an Aether 9a in ML. Currently got an old side entry bottle cage in there with a 500ml bottle. I quite fancy a Fidlock setup instead, mainly because it looks nicer. Has anyone used one on an Aether 9a? Ideally I'd like a 750ml bottle but that might be a bit snug. I also have a pump holder unde...

Anyone else see this on the news earlier? I saw it on my Flipboard feed from a Kyiv news feed, and watching the drone footage of the poor dear struggling to walk along the road all on her own, away from her destroyed house made me rather emotional. Wonderful use of the technology to be able to rescu...

Created the topic 15mm trhu axle endcaps in Bike Forum
Looking for the hive mind on this one..... I have an Octane One wheelset which is missing a front endcap. The endcap is 15mm and the thru axle passes straight through a 6902 bearing hub using a thrust axle design. As a result the endcap contacts the bearing inner race. Can anyone recommend to ...

I need a watch that can record strava , give me on ride stats and have big numbers. No need for paying for stuff or getting messages. I want an interval trainer, my current Suunto has very small numbers and is quite dark. So if possible I'd like the numbers on the countdown to fill the whole w...

Created the topic Comfiest push on grips? in Bike Forum
I've used ODI Attack/ODI longneck pro grips for decades, tried some others a while back, but they've not really given me the comfort of ODI. The ODI's are nice and grippy, but the soft compound is a compromise sometimes, as the mushroom ridges can collapse easily, especially on old grips. The non pr...
